The answer is not fixed. For colleges, the buildings may need to pay attention to students' freedom and self-discipline, while high-school architecture may focus more on pressure relief for teenagers. And for this 9 year school, GHD team emphasizes that the buildings need to help shape and protect students' fundamental values. GHD has been actively exploring educational building typology and trying to inject new thoughts into design.
