Inage Ryouen Crematorium and Temple

Eitaro Satake

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Inage Ryouen Crematorium and Temple by Eitaro Satake As people moving from their birthplace to cities are growing, change in lifestyle creates a need for a change from a traditional local graveyard easy access urban ossuary. They designed a grave-type ossuary near Tokyo to solve the urban grave shortage and memorial halls that are easy to visit. It is the first grave-type mechanical ossuary in Japan and is memorial architecture for bereaved families to conduct the funeral ceremony and pay their respect.
